Tanikqua Moore, MD, FAAP

Dr. Moore attended Medical School at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, August 2001 to June 2005, and completed her residency at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital, July 2005 to June 2008. Dr. Moore is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Before joining Focus-MD, Dr. Moore practiced General Pediatrics with a private group in Birmingham, Alabama for 2 years, then briefly transferred to the academic setting at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Adolescent clinic and Children’s Medical Center, then returned to private practice in Birmingham to work in an under served area. She is dedicated to her family, which includes her husband and two daughters. She has a strong desire to encourage children and young adults to achieve their personal goals, and believes that Focus-MD will help them fulfill their aspirations.
